I want my Taurus man back

I am an Aries. We are both in our late 30's. We have been broken up 1 1/2 yr now. We have seen each other a few times since the breakup and spoken several times. I spent the night with him in January. Prior to the breakup he had said that he loved me and wanted to marry me. The plan was for me to move to his city. I was not able to do so for several reasons. He refused to compromise and suddenly broke off the relationship and proceeded to call and text me within a month of the break up. He is now dating a Gemini woman who is several years younger and well to do. She apparently buys him very nice gifts, drives a nice vehicle etc.. When I saw him in January I caught him staring at me when he thought I was asleep. He looked at me the same way he did when we were still together. I could feel the love. I want him back badly but, don't know what to do. I can't compete with nice gifts and money. I can only offer him my love, loyalty and commitment. I can't get this man out of my heart and mind. Any ideas

Love, a total bluff

Your Taurus man only wanted love, loyalty and committment from you. Self-sacrificing traits, which you didn't possess, so he moved on. It's funny how you said you offered him those traits, and yet refused to move to his city to be with him. I laughed out loud. He never wanted gifts and money. He couldn't care less. Taurus men love gifts and nice things-yes...but only when it's earned through hardwork and determination. Not when it's readily given with no merit or for no reason. Taurus men actually hate that. They're possessive. Which means he wants to be in the drivers seat showering his significant other instead!
Taurus men want stability, honesty, & consistency. Mean what you say, and say what you mean. Aries, if you want this man...figure out a way to move to his city and fight for him. If you opt not to, then your love for him was a total bluff!
If you're unable to do this, wish him luck with his Gemini g/f.

I know I'm probably very late on this but to the above comment "love a total bluff", the aries girl said that she was not able to move to his city due to reasons she probably could not mention and that he has a gemini girlfriend who provided the taurus guy what he wants.

To the aries chick, if a guy like that is not willing to compromise and understand the reason why you were not able to move where he is, then he was not right for you in the first place. You should find someone who's willing better at understanding and compromising.
